Deron was proudly born and raised in Northern California, specifically Sacramento and El Dorado Hills. Deron made his way to Southern California where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning and Development from San Diego State University. He started his career in commercial real estate in 1983 as an intern with the former Grubb & Ellis.
Deron moved with a San Diego based developer to Las Vegas in 1990, the same year that UNLV won the Men’s Basketball National Championship against Duke. After 26 years of living in Las Vegas, Deron started working at R.O.I. Commercial Real Estate in 2013, while maintaining an active Real Estate License in California.
Deron has a primary background in public shopping center REIT’s and private commercial developers. Specialties in retail include marketing, lease and sale negotiations, retail tenant representation, and ground up shopping center development.
Fun Fact: He has seen the Eagles live in concert 12 times.
